Review guidelines

We want reviews that are funny, honest and useful. A few ground rules keep it that way:

Do 👍

• Review a shower you actually used, during a real stay.
• Be specific: pressure, temperature, drainage, the controls, the room you were in.
• Be as funny as you like. Exaggerate for effect, as long as the basics are true.
• Post photos of the shower itself.

Don’t 👎

• No photos of people, including yourself or reflections in mirrors and glass. We reject these.
• No naming or describing hotel staff or other guests.
• No hate, harassment, threats or sexual content.
• No fake reviews, and no reviewing your own hotel or a competitor’s. If you work in the hotel industry, don’t review properties you have a stake in.
• No paid or incentivised reviews.
• No statements of fact you know to be untrue. Opinions are fine; false claims aren’t.

We may hide or remove reviews or photos that break these rules, and suspend accounts that keep breaking them. See something that shouldn’t be here? Hit Report on the review.
